Client’s Requirement

Since we are a customer-centric, leading IT company, we added all the features our customers requested. Now with our integrated structure, the days are gone when people have to wait for a ride.

Our client's approach to the online ride-booking platform is noted. The first demand was an on-demand taxi booking app that covers everything from online booking to accepting or rejecting rides. Additionally, the priority was a negotiating platform where customers communicate to negotiate the price of the ride and reach a settlement. Booking an online ride with proper communication is what we aimed to help our clients with.

The client's main aim is to introduce the negotiating ride concept where people can travel into different areas while enjoying the best transportation for a cost-effective amount. The app is developed on Android and iOS platforms and designed for all.

Technologies We Use

Frontend- Android- Kotlin

The typical front-end framework performs seamless server-side programming and developing APIs. Using Java we build an easy gateway for booking rides with smooth navigation and more. Overall, it modifies the process and brings seamless delivery of service.

iOS- Swift

Swift is a perfect framework for developing native iOS apps. We used Swift as it is a fun, and interactive language and helps to include modern features in the app. Swift code is safe by design and produces an app that runs lightning-fast with seamless integration and navigation.

Backend- Laravel

Being an open-source platform, Laravel indents the development of web applications following the book-chat-confirm-ride architectural pattern. We best use this full-featured framework in project development and assistance.

Features We Made

Registration and Login

Integrating a simple registration process where users can sign up as a customer or drivers quickly. Sign-in is also a breeze, with secure authentication to ensure your account is safe.

Ride Booking

Smooth ride booking with an uncluttered UI design is present. Here customers can select pick-up and drop-off locations and ride types, deal with the fare estimation and confirm the ride.

Driver's Location Tracking

After confirmation of the ride, the app allows riders to track the driver's location.

Payment Gateway

Now multiple payment gateways and cashless payment option are available that lets you pay directly on the app when you reach your destination.

Sending SMS

You'll never miss an important update regarding your booking again - we send real-time SMS notifications to both customers and drivers to keep them informed.

Online Chat System

We understand that communication is key - so we offer a seamless chat feature for both customers and drivers to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Document verification

All drivers are verified with proper registration and documentation to ensure customer safety is a priority. We added steps to deliver a safe and secure experience.

OTP Generation

We also have an OTP(one-time pin) system in place so no one can access your account without your permission.

Invoice

Once the trip is over, riders are notified with a ride invoice to check their ride details. The ride invoice includes Pick-Up And Drop-Off Location, Time, Distance, Driver Name, Car Type, and Fare Amount.

Referral Code

During ride booking, riders can avail of free or discounted rides by using a referral code.

Map Accessibility

In order to access maps for navigation, Google Maps API is integrated.

Other Advanced Features That Comes in Handy

Super Admin:

Super admins hold access to the entire enterprise. They control the website comprehensively and manage all accounts of the users and drivers. With the authority to take required actions whenever needed, they supervise the active/native staff.

Payment Settlement:

Payment is negotiated and settled between the customers and drivers with a direct chat system. The payment settlement is done once the service is booked by the customers.

Sub Admins:

Sub admins manage the car details, intricate car types, and functions of all other performances related to smooth ride booking. They manage drivers' sheets, customer sheets, and programming, and look after the report of each ride.

Price Negotiation:

The price is negotiated between the customers and drivers. Here customers can suggest a rate as per their convenience of the ride and the drivers can counter it accordingly and come to a settlement.
